Return of the Rude!

I spent the weekend up in Frontenac Provincial Park with the wife camping on Kingsford Lake. Took the boat up and got lots of fishing in.

Kingsford is an amazing fishery. The Bass were hitting everything I threw at them. Caught about 20+ fish with a few three pounders in the mix. All fish were well fed and fat.

Saw some huge Bluegills swimming around and a massive school of Black Crappie, except I had no light tackle to fish them on. There were literally thousands of them. They were there one day and gone the next.

I was talking to one of the locals and he said the Bass on Kingsford didn’t spawn this year. I caught a nice Bass off the guy’s dock and two more chased him to the boat trying to get the Senko away from him! I have never seen large mouth do that before.

I got my outboard back last week and she runs like a top now. Pushes the boat along at a respectable 36 km/h (22mph) according to the GPS on my BlackBerry!

Here are the promised glamuor shots of LL plus a pic of the duck breasts we did in the Dutch!

Give a man a fish and you will feed him for one day.
Teach a man to fish and you will feed him for the rest of his life.
Give a man a boat and he will sit in it and drink beer all day!

Wondrful report BC :D :D :D
Glamuor shots were well worth the wait. Very nice indeed!
Smart looking set up you've got there.
Sure is nice when the bite is fast and lots of action to be had.
D/O duck looks delicious!
Great job and thanks for the update.
Some people think fishing is a matter of life and death.......It's way more important than that.
